Question 1

What exactly is MerryMory?

Accepted Answer

A hanging Christmas ornament with a round 1.75-inch AMOLED display and a built-in speaker. It holds your personal Christmas song, a title and your photos. Press the button and your song plays.

Question 2

How is my song created?

Accepted Answer

You tell us your story in a few bullet points. An AI writes lyrics from it, which you can read, change and approve. Only then does AI music software compose the song in your chosen style. You listen to the whole song before you order.

Question 3

Do I own the song?

Accepted Answer

You may use your song privately without time limit, e.g. play and share it with your family. We cannot promise exclusive copyright, because AI-generated music is treated differently in law from music composed by people. Commercial use is not intended.

Question 4

Are batteries included?

Accepted Answer

No. The ornament needs 3 × AAA batteries, which are not included. They go in behind the screwed rear cover.

Question 5

Is there a subscription or any follow-up cost?

Accepted Answer

No. You pay once and keep the ornament forever. No subscription, no app, no account needed.

Question 6

When will it arrive?

Accepted Answer

We make every ornament individually. Shipping starts in early December. The delivery times shown are estimates; unfortunately we cannot guarantee delivery before Christmas.

Question 7

What is the order deadline?

Accepted Answer

The order deadline for this season is 16 December 2026 (German time). After that the shop closes for this year.

Question 8

Where do you deliver?

Accepted Answer

At launch we deliver to Germany. We'll enable Austria and Switzerland once shipping and taxes are finalised. For Switzerland, import VAT, duties and carrier fees may apply on import; these are not included in the price.

Question 9

What happens to my photos and texts?

Accepted Answer

They are only used for your ornament, stored privately and deleted automatically after delivery – or, for drafts that are never ordered, after a short period. Your photos are not sent to AI services. We remove location and camera data (EXIF) from all images.

Question 10

Can each ornament in the 3-pack be different?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You decide: one shared song for all three ornaments, or a separate song, photos and design for each one.

Question 11

Can I withdraw from my order?

Accepted Answer

Because each ornament is made individually to your specifications, the statutory right of withdrawal is generally excluded. See the withdrawal policy for details. Statutory warranty rights for defects of course apply.

Question 12

Do I need an account?

Accepted Answer

No. You order as a guest. You can see your order status via a secure link in your confirmation email. After your purchase you can optionally create an account to see all your orders in one place.

Question 13

Where can I find my invoice?

Accepted Answer

In the customer portal of our payment provider Stripe. Sign in there with the email address you used for your order – the link is on your order status page.

Question 14

What does 'demo mode' mean?

Accepted Answer

Until our payment and AI services are live, you'll see clearly labelled examples. In demo mode nothing is charged and no real song is generated.
